Parish Residential Homes

Taking Holy Communion out into the community

We have the privilege of taking Holy Communion each month parishioners with Altzheimers at Daneside Mews and also to parishioners at Daneside Court who need nursing care.  Holy Communion is taken  to those in sheltered accommodation in Queen Elizabeth House and in Heathbrook .

Those of our members who are housebound, infirm or have long term illness also receive monthly Communion.

We believe that in caring for them in this way we can show God’s love for them and helps them to feel that they are part of our Church family at St. Helen.

If you know someone in the parish who would like to receive Holy Communion in their own home please let the Vicar know.
